The President returns to the island after completing a successful tour in America.

President Mahinda Rajapakse arrived in the island today after successful completion of a tour in US. The President left the country for New York on the 25th of this month to attend the sessions of the 69th UN General assembly.
The President also participated in global climate summit, Clinton global approach and many other international conferences. The President had bilateral talks with leaders of a number of countries as well. Foreign media institutions focused more attention on the President Rajapakse’s talks with UN Secretary general Ban Ki Moon and Indian prime Minister Narendra Modi.
