Most Venerale Panditha Na Uyane Ariyadhamma Thero, Great Meditation Teacher and Spiritual Director of the Sri Kalyani Yogasharama Sanstha was appointed as Anu Nayake of Ramanya Sector and presentation of credentials took place at a ceremony held on 23 September, 2014 at Gnarama Thripitaka Dharmayathana at Meethirigala, Dompe, under patronage of Most Venerable Napane Pemasiri Thero, Mahanayake of Ramanya Sector. Minister of Economic Development Basil Rajapaksa presented the Eight Monastic Requisites to newly appointed Anua Nayake Thero.
Members of the reverend clergy led by Anua Nayake Theros of Ramanya Sector, Deputy Ministers Lasantha Alagiyawanna and Dulip Wijesekera and Western Provincial Council Member Upali Gunarathna were among the large gathering of well wishers on this occasion.
