Commonwealth Asian local government summit commences in Colombo today and tomorrow. Diplomatic representatives from India , Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Maldives will take part at the summit.
The opening ceremony will be held at the Colombo Galadari Hotel this morning under the patronage of minister A.L.M. Athaulla.
