A New Zealand minister will arrive here today to extend an invitation to President Mahinda Rajapaksa to participate in the opening ceremony of the ICC World Cup to be held in his country in February, next year, Daily Mirror learns.
New Zealand’s Minister of Primary Industries, Nathan Guy will be arriving with the invitation from New Zealand Prime Minister John Key to the President. However, he will not meet the President. Instead, he will leave the invitation with External Affairs Minister Prof. G.L. Peiris this morning.
