The Chairman of the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation Hudson Samarasinghe has filed a case against Nirmala de Alwis, the wife of late Premakeerthi de Alwis asking for rupees 150 million for insulting him in Colombo District Courts.
He has taken this action regarding the discussions published in 2 news papers under the heading ” President Premakeerthi’s murderer is under your shade”.
In the petition, it is said that she has stated this to the President at the 25th commemorating ceremony of Premakeerthi de Alwis held at the complex of Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation on the 31st July.For the case President has been named as a respondent
