An annual income of 470 million dollars is targeted from the Colombo Port City.

Secretary to the Treasury Dr. P.B. Jayasundara says that an annual income of 470 million dollars is expected from the Colombo Port City. It will be developed as Asia’s international business centre. The government has launched to utilize naval and maritime sectors for the development of the economy on the instructions of the President. The new Port City will consist of high rise housing complexes, modern offices, hotels, banks and service centers. Dr. Jayasundara said that three access roads would be built to enter the city.
