The Yaal Devi will reach Jaffna on 13th of this month.

President Mahinda Rajapakse will vest the northern railway line upto Jaffna with the people on the 13th of this month. The railway line has been constructed at a cost of 58,000 million rupees. Accordingly, the Yaal Devi train will travel up to Jaffna from 13th onwards after a lapse of 24 years and the railway line has been constructed facilitating the trains to speed up to 100 kilometers per hour. Meanwhile, Jaffna to Kankasanthurai Railway line will be vested with the people in the month of December.
