The President leaves for Vatican today.

President Mahinda Rajapakse will leave for Vatican today to officially invite his holiness pope Francis to visit Sri Lanka. The pontiff is to visit Sri Lanka from 13th to 15th January next year. During this visit he will hold discussions with the president and conduct a special mass at Galleface greens in Colombo and also visit Madu Church.
