Government’s new projects will provide nearly five thousand new employments to the people of the North.

Minister of Investment Promotion Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena said the government has implemented a massive development drive within a shorter period after defeating terrorism despite facing numerous challenges. He pointed out that the Board of Investment has invested more than 66,000 million rupees in the Northern Province during the last nine years. The Minister made these observations at the first ever investment forum of Northern Province held after defeating terrorism which began at the Jaffna District Secretariat yesterday.
