Basil Rajapaksa Has Been Arrested and Remanded till May 5th

The Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) has arrested former Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa. The charges are unknown at the time. He has been ordered by the Magistrate of Kaduwela to be remanded until May 5th. He will be allowed to participate in parliament sittings next week.
