President Mahinda Rajapakse left the island for USA yesterday to participate in the 69th UN General Assembly sessions. The president will also have bilateral discussions with the state leaders who attended the general assembly in New York.
The preliminary sessions started on the 16th of this month and the main debate session will be held on the 24th of this month.
The President will address the 69th UN General Assembly sessions in New York on Thursday.
