Another chance for postal voters

Elections Secretariat has decided to allocate another date for public servants to cast their postal voting on 11 August.

Election Commissioner’s Office said the decision was taken to pave way for those who could not vote on 8 August it being a weekend.

An official said since there was comparatively low turnout in postal voting, this additional date was allocated for public sector employees to exercise their franchise
